Speaking of a boy and his goat...



Okay, strictly speaking Mads isn't mine. As in, I don't own him. But he's miiiiiine anyway! And he loves the cuddles. He may act like he's a toug bighshot, leader of the pack. But he's just a giant kitten at heart.

Also I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has joined the community. And especially those who have posted. Thank you so much. I was a little worried that this would end up with 3 members and no one posting. But now there are more than 30 members and a few of you have posted too. So whether this community will be a success or not, at least I know I'm not alone in thinking that goats are great!

Hey, I was more than glad to join. This community came up at an awesome time for me.

Lots of goat reference for drawing! If I can't figure out an angle, or think someone looks wrong, I come looking in here for help. :3

i would post some pics but i had to give my 2 away a long time ago. maybe when we move soon (hopefully within 6 months) ill be able to get some new ones. i might post the pics i do have when i get home if i remember. thx for makin this community

I say there need to be more goat oriented things. ...and so this commuinity is good!
And like someone else said... it's a great artistic reference seeing all the lovely goat pics. I'd say the goats are my second favourite after the equines. :D And there's hardly any good reference material anywhere it seems. Not much on the net, and there are NO books. ...like, there are tons of books of equine photography... but None with goats! what's with that?
I unfortunately don't have goats in my life, so i probably won't be able to post much. But I'll be lurking around!

Happy to join

Hey I just started this livejournal thing and I was so happy to know that there were people on here that were goat people too! I have nigerian dwarf goats, Oberhasli, and Alpines, and I love them all to death. All 38 of them. The babies are SO adorable.
